No 2.8 cr for Abhishek, takes responsibility for Players failure!
Abhishek Bachchan has proved that he is a true player. He has the guts to take things the way they come and not run away from them. His recent film Players didn’t work at the box office, so the actor thought of bearing the loss by himself and refused to take his remaining remuneration of 2.8 crores.
Abhishek was very excited about working in Players. As per reports, all the investors recovered their money from the film, but it fell short of public expectation. But there is good news for Abhishek’s fans as he has Bol Bachchan, Dhoom 3 and Dostana 2 in the pipeline.
Out of the duo Abbas Mustan, Mustan confirmed the news to a daily and said, “Yes, it is true. It is an amazing gesture on Abhishek’s part. During the schedule in Russia, Abhishek had promised us that he would do everything in his capacity for the film. And he has certainly kept his word.”
Well, Abhishek is the first actor to do so and we are sure this will be a lesson for the others.
